Law of Attraction TechniquesTips for Utilizing the Emotional ScaleIf you need to refer to the Law of Attraction-Techniques page on which the emotional scale is listed, click here.I think it's best to journal when you're moving up the scale...it helps to get out of our heads. Remember, when we utilize our Emotional Guidance System, we are on our way to true freedom. This is one of the best Law of Attraction techniques because if we truly understand our emotions we can do anything!
IdentifyBe sure to clearly identify the emotion you are feeling. This will be your starting point, so it's important to be sure it's how you feel. I often aim for one emotion lower than I think I'm feeling, just to be sure.
AcknowledgeIn these Law of Attraction techniques, it's so important for you to sit with the emotion for a bit and acknowledge and allow yourself to feel it. Abraham-Hicks often uses the expression, "I am where I am".In Buddhism this is crucial for releasing an emotion. The idea is that whatever emotion you are feeling is ok. No big deal. It's just an indication of how little or great you are allowing your connection with your inner being. So take time to first write a bit about this emotion.
Write to MoveAfter you've written a bit about the emotion you're feeling, start writing/talking yourself into the next emotion that's higher on the scale.
The idea is that you write/talk yourself into a better feeling thought.
Think about whatever you need to to get you moving up the scale.
How long will this Law of Attraction technique take?This could take 10 minutes or a month.It all depends on how long you've been in the starting point emotion. If you've been hanging out in fear for years, this process could take you a month to move into the higher emotions of happiness and joy. No problem. Our emotional guidance system is innate to us, so we will understand it! Just try to feel and work with one emotion each day. So, by the time you go to bed that night you have fully felt the particular emotion you've been working on. When you wake up the next day, commit to making it a day filled with the feelings and thoughts of the emotion that's one higher on the scale. Journal everything that reminds you of that emotion. Really talk yourself into feeling that emotion fully. And then the next day do the same with the emotion that's one higher. Same with the next day. Before you know it you've moved rather quickly up this scale considering you had no movement for years. If, however, you just dipped into a lower emotion than you're used to, you can easily write/talk yourself into the next one and then the next and next... I do it all the time. Have fun with these Law of Attraction techniques. Try it out. Play with understanding your emotions. And embrace the true freedom that comes when gaining control over your emotions through utilizing your emotional guidance system.
